Call for Proposals
We're pleased to announce our next annual Virtual Recovery Conference. We are looking for speakers interested in sharing their expertise and knowledge on topics related to recovery in serious mental illness, metacognition, Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapy or other metacognitively-oriented psychotherapies, and other relevant areas of research and clinical work.
If you feel your work aligns well with the values and goals of the MERIT Institute, we invite you submit a proposal to present. Please share this invite with associates who may be interested.
MERIT Institute Mission
The MERIT Institute aims to improve the lives of people experiencing serious mental illness through the development and dissemination of MERIT (Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapy), a meaning-making, recovery-oriented approach to psychotherapy. At the MERIT Institute, we: 1) train multidisciplinary mental health professionals in MERIT, 2) advance research of metacognition, serious mental illness, and recovery, 3) advocate for expanded opportunities for individuals in need to have access to MERIT, and 4) offer opportunities for mental health professionals to network and collaborate.
