Up to $5,000 for MERIT Institute members conducting research on MERIT, metacognition, recovery, and severe mental illness.

All MERIT Institute members are eligible to apply. Not yet a member? You can apply for membership when submitting your grant application.
HOW TO APPLY
RESEARCH GRANT REQUIREMENTS
Maximum 3-page proposal (include specific aims, methods, future directions, timeline, and proposed budget)
IRB approval required before funds can be disbursed
APPLICATION PROCESS
The priority deadline for applications is July 20th, 2026. After this date, applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis pending availability of funds. Applications should be submitted to the Research Committee. Applicants are welcome to seek guidance or address inquiries to the Committee prior to submission.
