AFTM: Association Française de Thérapie Métacognitive
Founded in 2025, the Association Française de Thérapie Métacognitive is a young and ambitious organization dedicated to the promotion of MERIT and other metacognitive therapies across France and French-speaking regions.
Our core activities:
Comprehensive MERIT training programs tailored for French-speaking mental health professionals, in collaboration with the MERIT Institute.
AFTM is currently beginning the French validation of the MAS-A (Metacognition Assessment Scale), strengthening the evidence base for metacognitive interventions.
Monthly online supervision groups, providing a space for practitioners to refine their clinical posture and share expertise.
2026 Symposium: On October 15, 2026, we will host our major conference: "Metacognition and Mental Health: From Theory to Clinical Application."
We are actively seeking to expand our network and welcome new collaborators, researchers, and clinicians to join our movement.
